Terms of Use

By using vpnleak, you agree to use the service lawfully and understand that its results are diagnostic estimates rather than professional security advice.

Updated: August 21, 2026

Permitted use

You may use the public interface and documented API to inspect a network or device you are authorized to test. Reasonable automated checks are allowed, but traffic intended to overload, scrape excessively, bypass controls or disrupt the DNS and HTTP services is not.

No guarantee of anonymity or security

Results depend on browser APIs, third-party STUN reachability, DNS caching, IP databases and the network path at the moment of the scan. A result can be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Do not rely on vpnleak as the sole basis for legal, compliance, safety or security decisions.

Third-party services and links

The service may contact or link to third parties. vpnleak does not control their availability, content or privacy practices and does not endorse a vendor merely because its network or product name appears in a result.

Intellectual property and changes

The project source is distributed under the MIT License and retains the notices in the repository. Site text, branding and third-party marks remain subject to their respective rights. The service and these terms may change as browser behavior, providers and legal requirements evolve.
